Best Chinese Takeaway In Cardiff – During that strange period between Christmas and New Years when the days come together, cheese is my main source of energy and I’m curiously interested in the world’s strongest man, it’s an annual tradition for us to throw a party Chinese with friends. . .

Hunan-style beef (£9.20) saw delicious chunks of meat dipped in a complex sauce that produced a healthy dose of chilli, garlic, spring onions, cumin and chillies.

Three Cups of Taiwanese Chicken (£8.80), a comforting dish named after the equal amounts of sesame oil, Chinese rice wine and soy sauce used in its recipe, was loaded with tender bites of meat soaked in an aromatic sweet and salty garlic sauce. . , ginger and star anise.

Lamb with cumin (£9.20), also a favorite of mine at Zi’s Cafe on Woodville Road, echoes the earthy heat of the spice.
