Drunken Duck It is not only a beautiful old inn, but also produces delicious food. Another Lancashire Life Award winner, he sources his food locally whenever possible and the kitchen team know the origin of the meat and the sustainability of the fish. Baba Ganoush, Kendal This incredible canteen and food deli is a delight. It’s not a place you go for good food, and the owners don’t want it either.
